WHAT IS THIS ORGANIZATION AND HOW CAN I HELP?

1. What is Barnabas Bar Petra?
Answer: Barnabas Bar Petra is a 501(c)(3) charitable, educational and/or religious non-profit corporation dedicated to
meet some of the needs of Third World Countries by providing projects designed to benefit children with disabilities
and their caregivers. Also, Barnabas Bar Petra seeks to provide specialized training for young people with low
educational achievements. This Non-profit Organization serves to identify and select needed areas for development;

training in Rehabilitation Centers/Camps.
2. Who are the recipients of the services provided by Barnabas Bar Petra?
Answer: (i.) Children with disabilities: The organization will provide training in Self-care Home Management to
children with disabilities and their caregivers.
(ii.) Young people with low educational achievements: This Organization foster and promotes
the success of these young people in areas of new and existing business. This can be achieved
by creating an environment where young people can develop critical thinking skills, providing the
tools to motivate them towards education and self-reliance, and deter the massive exodus to cities
of First World Countries where they may become unproductive or destructive.
(iii.) The Caribbean Community: The Caribbean has been sited as the first place. This organization seeks
to develop faith in the Caribbean Community through the teaching of Christian principles for life,
such as “Helping your neighbor”. This is to encourage the spirit of pride and belonging in Caribbean
young people so that their community can grow socially, economically, spiritually, and functionally.
3. How will Barnabas Bar Petra accomplish these goals?
Answer: Barnabas Bar Petra was created to build, equip and operate Rehabilitation Centers/Camps. These
Rehabilitation Centers/Camps serve to supplement existing governmental facilities/agencies to carry out their goals and
mission. Barnabas Bar Petra serves as the hub through which many organizations, companies, businesses and
individuals can effectively channel their charitable resources to benefit children with disabilities.
4. Where are the proposed sites for these Rehabilitation Centers/Camps?
Answer: Barnabas Bar Petra will build Rehabilitation Centers/Camps in
(a) North Carolina - Headquarters, where children with disabilities and there families can get training in
Self-care Home Management. Also where volunteers, who are planning to serve overseas, can receive
appropriate training specific for the community they will serve.
(b) St. Croix –United States Virgin Island to serve the central Caribbean.
(c) Jamaica - West Indies to serve the northern Caribbean.
(d) Trinidad - West Indies to serve the southern Caribbean, and
(e) Belize - Central America
Those three islands were strategically selected so that children with disabilities throughout the entire Caribbean can
easily access one of these facilities. Belize gives quick access to Central America. Following the completion and
initiation of operation of the above Rehabilitation Centers, Barnabas Bar Petra will pursue building Centers in other
Third World Countries.
